GRGS is a the studio home of glass artists John Riepma and Scott Haebich. Occasional classes, workshops and events are held at the studio.
GRGS is a "furnace" blowing studio where molten glass is gathered from an electric furnace on a blowpipe. The glass is then blown, shaped, reheated, rolled, manipulated, coaxed, reheated, hung, swung, blown again, reheated, transferred, reheated, stretched, trimmed, reheated... until it's finished.*
